Privacy Policy

Modara Solutions Inc. ("Modara", "we", "us") collects personal information only to provide our services and run our business. We never sell it. Effective October 23, 2026.

This policy covers clients, prospective clients and visitors to www.modarasolutions.com, and follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Our principles. We treat your information as a trust: we collect only what we need and use it only for the purpose you gave it.

Who is accountable. Our Privacy Officer is responsible for how we handle personal information and can be reached at privacy@modarasolutions.com.

What we collect and why

We collect what you give us and what our website records when you visit:

  • contact details, such as your name, company, email and phone number
  • appointment details and messages you send us, including live chat
  • information you share with us during a project
  • invoices and payment records
  • website usage, such as pages visited and browser type, through cookies

We use it to answer you, deliver and invoice our services, keep the records the law requires, and run our website. By giving us information for one of these purposes, you consent to that use.

When you pay by card, you enter your card details on our payment processor's secure form. We never see your full card number.

How we use and share it

Your information is used only by Modara Solutions and those working on our behalf, for the purpose of doing business with you. Like most businesses, we rely on service providers for things such as hosting, email, video meetings, payments, banking and accounting. They handle information only on our behalf and only as needed to provide that service. Some may store it outside Canada, where local law applies to it.

We do not sell or rent your information, or share it for anyone else's marketing. We disclose it to others only when the law requires.

Keeping and protecting it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for these purposes or the law requires, as with tax records, and then delete it or make it anonymous. We protect it by limiting access to those who need it and by using secure logins and encrypted connections. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.

Cookies and emails

Our website uses essential cookies, for example to keep you signed in and remember your language, and optional cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site. You can block cookies in your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies.

We send promotional emails only with your consent, and each one includes an unsubscribe link.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or withdraw your consent, unless a contract or the law requires us to keep using it. Contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@modarasolutions.com; we may first ask you to confirm your identity. If we cannot resolve a concern, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes. We may update this policy. The current version is always posted here with its effective date.
